Ever found yourself praying for something, and yet, having doubts about your prayer being answered? Yeah, I can relate. I have personally struggled with trusting God in the past. Being at crossroads and thinking well if God does it, GREAT, if not, me, myself and I will have to do things my own way.
This attitude is what makes room for doubt. If I am not confident that God hears my prayers and will come through for me, then I am not completely trusting God.
As I have grown in my walk with God, I have come to know that when we go before Him with no doubts, we in return, also receive the peace that stems from knowing we have cast out cares and worries to our Father who knows what is best for us.
“Feed your faith and your doubts will starve to death”. It is so easy to hear such statements and other messages about Faith, get excited that Jesus says in Matthew 21:21 “…if you have Faith and do not doubt…it will be done” and yet not live accordingly.
“…because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have Faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and NOTHING will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 NKJV
Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservations. –Elton Trueblood
Remember, having Faith is what you do when you do not know what’s coming next but you know the One who KNOWS what’s coming next.
