That was MY MOMENT—everything changed. I was back on campus around midnight and I contacted the human and ended the relationship. Yes, I did not even wait until the next morning – I found what I had been searching and longing for. Why wait? I knew it had to be done immediately. I couldn’t have risked not taking advantage of all that moment had to offer. You too, don’t wait. Right now could be YOUR MOMENT.
I have not looked back. Soon I began attending a Bible believing Church and serving there – I found a new family. Fixing my eyes on God made all the difference. To be honest, my relationship with God slowly evolved from seeking Him for what He can do for me to seeking Him for who He is. I have learned to appreciate God’s presence and not just his “presents”.
If you have experienced a similar moment like what I described above, then this is a reminder that there are many others yet to purchase their lifelong ticket to the blissful journey of having a relationship with God. Meditate on how you are actively reaching out to the lost. Salvation is God’s responsibility towards us. However, leading others to God is our responsibility.
If you have not genuinely let God have His way in your life, don’t wait any longer. I understand! The fear of walking away from the familiar—unhealthy habits, relationships, friends, etc is crippling. Astoundingly, when you fully experience God’s love, you have nothing to fear. God created you, has the blueprint for your life and even if you’ve spent your life running from Him or you’ve done things you regret, He still loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. His love is unconditional. Ask Him to have His way in your life, He won’t let you down. I’m praying with you.
