A girl somewhere just grew UP!!
It was recently my birthday (YAY!) and over the past few years, my love for writing has led me to write what I call “birthday letters”..sometimes to myself or a loved one(not for their viewing) telling a story about the past year. This year, I planned to do it differently and address a letter from Christ to myself. There was no room for lies or sweetening up mistakes. I was ready to recall everything I could’ve and should’ve done better. But the moment the sheet felt the effect of the ink from my prayed over pen, the atmosphere shifted.
I caught myself reflecting on His AMAZING love. Something about His LOVE that has kept me! In spite of the many times, I KNEW I was in the wrong, lacked consistency and “failed” at being the perfect Christian, His love for me never changed💛 Oh to be reminded that I have a PERFECT God loving an IMPERFECT me!!
