His Overwhelming Love

Acts 9:1-22  ❤️   Read here
Saul led a movement that destroyed all who talked about Jesus but after an encounter with the Lord he preached Christ in the synagogues. I couldn’t help but reflect on Christ’s amazing and overwhelming love.

Before Saul was baptized, the Lord referred to him as “A chosen vessel” even in his sinful state.

As dreadful as Saul’s deeds were (persecuted Christians), the moment he surrendered to the Lord, he was given instructions on what to do and fast forward – he becomes filled with the Holy Spirit and “immediately he preached Christ in the synagogues, that He is Son of God” (v.20).

Sometimes we tend to find it hard to surrender to God because of how BAD we think our sins may be and wonder whether God would be willing to forgive us and accept us. The answer is God is waiting on US to consciously make that decision and invite Him into our lives no matter how horrendous our sins may be. We are His chosen vessels.

His love is unconditional, knows no boundaries and His arms are forever wide open to receive us❤️
